EMPI is offering an all new, all EMPI 1600cc long block for Type 1, Type 2 and Karmann Ghia applications.
Just like EMPI dual port Long Blocks, these single port long blocks are assembled using high-quality parts from leading air-cooled brands including AA, BUGPACK, Elring, Schadek and others. Also included is a 12 month/unlimited mileage warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
The single port long block features an OE Style magnesium engine case for strength and lightness. EMPI Aluminum cylinder heads are CNC machined at EMPI Anaheim and upgraded with OSVAT valves, valve guides and seats installed on a Rottler machine and a proprietary EMPI three-angle valve job is performed.
